Oy-Mittelberg
Der gotische Hochaltar der Wallfahrtskirche Maria Rain in Oy-Mittelberg (Ortsteil Maria-Rain).
Die wohl "Schönste Dorfkirche des Allgäus" kam ursprünglich aus dem 11. Jahrhundert. Erstmals urkundlich erwähnt wurde die Kirche jedoch erst 1414. Durch bauliche Veränderungen bzw. Neubau änderte sich die Gestalt mehrfach. Im Inneren befindet sich der äußerst sehenswerte gotische Hochaltar aus dem Jahre 1519 und die Kanzel mit berühmten Tragengel (ca. 1620-1630).
Das Gnadenbild entstand 1490. Die Fresken und Figuren sind in einem phänomenalen Zustand.
