Münzenberg
Unterer Burghof der Münzenburg.
Die Burg Münzenberg, auch Münzenburg, ist eine Ruine einer Höhenburg.
Sie liegt auf dem 239 m ü. NN hohen Münzenberg und wurde bereits im 12. Jahrhundert urkundlich erwähnt.
Teile der Burg stammten sogar, wie die innere Ringmauer, noch aus diesem romanischen Ursprungsbau.
Vor der Kulisse der historischen Burg-Ruine Münzenberg findet auch jährlich der "Mittelaltermarkt der Freien Ritterschaft zu Münzenberg" statt.
