Innenraum der Michaeliskirche in Rohr (Thüringen).
Die als Klosterkirche eines Benediktinerklosters zwischen 815 und 824 erbaute Kirche ist von besonderer historischer Bedeutung. So ist sie die älteste Kirche Thüringens und der älteste Monumentalbau im östlichen Deutschland.
In der heutigen Dorfkirche mit Krypta befinden sich bis heute, neben der Krypta, sehenswerte historische Bauteile.
